Calm. Confident. Secure.
Sound good? That could be you after reading this life-changing book. Our world can be down-right scary, so it's no wonder we battle feelings of fear, anxiety, and unsettledness. Yet no matter what the circumstances, you can rid yourself of the burden of insecurity and live with complete confidence. How? By getting to know Who God is. This book reveals why our insecurity is no match for God's faithfulness. When you learn to trust His eternal commitment to you, it's impossible to be insecure.

From the Introduction:

And those who know Your name will put their trust in You;
For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.
Psalm 9:10 (NKJV)

  Living in this world can be scary sometimes. There are problems we have to face, decisions we have to make, tough times we have to get through. We need help, and sometimes in our darkest hours, we can't see any help anywhere! We easily feel abandoned, alone, and forgotten. We wonder where God went, why He's not here beside us, supporting us in our troubles.

  The insecurity you feel is heavy, claustrophobic. You want deliverance and relief, and you want to believe He'll supply it, but your mind wanders….

  Yeah, He told you once He would always be here, but now you're not so sure…. Maybe He's scooted away, maybe He's busy elsewhere, maybe He's only faithful to His word when things are easy. Maybe this insecurity you feel is there for a reason-warning you not to put your trust in a God you can't see. Maybe you were wrong and naïve to ever believe Him in the first place. Maybe He really has got better things to do than hold your hand.

  Hmm, don't think so.

  That insecurity is a common feeling as we face a world where promises are readily broken and truth is subjective. It's easy to become skeptical and to doubt God's goodness and His reasons for being with us where there's nothing we can do if He isn't.

  But there's no reason to be insecure about your Father! He's got no time or need for games, for playing with your trust. And He has the perfect and permanent cure for your insecurity: knowing Him.

  If you know Him, you can never be insecure again. Ever.

  Oh, He's still here, all right, as a teacher and a guide, an open book for all your questions. Know Him. And never doubt again.

  Wherever you are, there He is.
